Joining is simple

 

Joining Procedure

  1. To become a member, we kindly ask that you attend three monthly meetings as a visitor.
  2. If you know an existing member, feel free to join them at a meeting. If you’re new and don’t know anyone yet, please reach out to us via email or simply attend a meeting.
  3. After attending three meetings, if you wish to join, speak with the Membership Secretary who will provide you with an application form. Please return the completed form to the Membership Secretary.
  4. You will be notified once your application is accepted. During your first meeting after receiving this notification, you will be formally inducted into the club and asked to pay your membership fee (please refer to the subscription amounts below. Payment can be made via bank transfer using internet banking.
  5. Once your membership payment is confirmed, you will be added to our newsletter distribution list, which includes details of upcoming meetings and events. The newsletter also features contact information for committee members, should you have any questions about Probus.

Membership Fees and Due Date

MEMBERSHIP: NEW MEMBERS (first year):

    2026   $80  (includes a one-time $15.00 administrative fee)

  • New members joining after September 30th will incur a reduced  fee of $30, in addition to the joining fee. 

 Membership fees for renewing members are due at or before the March AGM meeting. 

Annual subscription fees for Probus 2026/27 can be paid using one of the following methods:

PREFERRED PAYMENT METHOD – Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) via Internet Banking from your bank account to our Probus Club

Account: BSB: 032 097; Account number: 750 233.
Account name: The Probus Club of Mosman Combined Inc.
Please identify your deposit with the words “Subs” followed by your family name.

or

By using your credit/debit card through the Square facility available at a General Meeting.

Your questions, answered

New members often ask about the time commitment or if they'll 'fit in.' Our club is flexible; whilst we do ask that attend at least 6 meetings a year, you can participate as much or as little as you like, and our friendly members ensure everyone feels welcome from day one. You don't need to know anyone to join – just bring your enthusiasm! We're here to help you feel at home and answer any other questions you may have. Contact us at email or phone [to be advised]
